The Alpine War of Isonzo brings numerous new game mechanics, together with the new Italian army, committed to fighting against the Austro-Hungarian army. The new Offensive game mode transports players in the midst of the most famous historical battles on the Italian front, from high-altitude fights in the Alps to bloody clashes for the Isonzo River. The fighting will take place on peaks with breathtaking views, impassable valleys and fantastic cities in northern Italy.
Inspired by the two-year battle for the river of the same name, Isonzo will allow players to cross the new battlefields of The First World War, both beautiful and lethal. Isonzo takes place on the southern front during the Great War and catapults players into the titanic clash between the Kingdom of Italy and the Austro-Hungarian Empire. The game is coming by the end of the year below you will find the first details, the official trailer and a set of images. The Dutch studio M2H, already known for war titles such as Verdun and Tannenberg,now leads us to defend the Italian front with WW1: Isonzo - Italian Front,a new FPS that will see us fight during the Great War, when our Alpine troops fought to repel the Austro-Hungarian troops on the banks of the River Isonzo.
